Recently, Cloud Computing has aroused great interest in the software industry due to the simplification of business organization and cost savings in the departments of Information Technology and Communications of Enterprises. However, the technology of cloud computing has been growing without clear criteria for standardization.

Then, in this article, we show the results of our research into the state of the art of standardization for Cloud Computing systems; also, we developed an initial study of the protocols used in various types of clouds from different manufacturers in order to understand the behavior of communication networks that operate under these environments.
